Covid-19  update 24th March 2020 - 1300hrs

Following the announcement from the Prime Minister yesterday evening regarding the stopping of all non-essential travel and more, I have taken the decision to postpone all non-urgent operations in my private practice of Foot & Ankle.

I place the safety of my patients and work colleagues along with my family above all.  In this time of worry around the outbreak I believe it a necessary decision, knowing the impact on individuals it may have.

I can confirm that I will continue to offer appointments for advice and what expertise I have to patients in follow-up, or new presenting conditions.

I am in the process of establishing a videoconference facility (FaceTime, Skype tec.) available to those who wish to consult but not attained hospital.

I will continue to offer face to face consultations at the Oaks Hospital to those of unavoidable need or concern.  This especially applies to those in recovery from surgery.

I wish health and safety to all patients and friends in this difficult and worrying time.

Respect social distancing and keep washing those hands.

Warm regards

Mr. Tim Williams
